A toast to the talent, beauty, and absolute skill displayed by the San Francisco Ballet on Thursday night.
Simply remarkable, I enjoyed every performance. The music, colors, special effects, and costumes were especially pleasing. I found the piece, Pas De Deux from Don Quixote truly captivating. It is magical, the way that Wona Park and Angelo Greco executed Alexander Gorsky and Marius Petipa’s choreography. Once that ending moment came about, my senses craved more.

Accompanied by my cousin, Shacrea Jones, we agreed that the San Francisco ballet never disappoints. This night certainly represented a grand celebration, matching very well with the theme La Grande Fête! We excitedly headed over to the gala where the most beautiful gowns and designer suits were on display. The audience looked stunning and smiles were in every direction.
Once we entered we were immediately greeted with champagne. A delectable assortment of hors d’oeuvres were at our disposable. The decor was aesthetically pleasing, roses adorned the walls while a stunning blue and black carpet layed gracefully across the stairs. The environment called for photo ops.
Make sure you join the San Francisco ballet for a performance this season. Get your season tickets and prepare to have your breath taken away!
Preparing For the Gala
Preparing for the gala was a fun and necessary task. A custom facial from Noel at De La Derma gave my skin a glow. Makeup and hair looks were created by Martha Haynes. Custom Black gown was created by Amour Sador.
